Uninstalling the macOS printer driver

  • To perform this procedure, you will have to login to the PC as a user with administrator privileges.


  1. Select [System Preferences] from the Apple menu.
  2. Select [Printers & Scanners].
  3. Select the device to be deleted, and click [-].
    When a confirmation message is displayed, click [Delete Printer].

    • If you cannot click [-], click the key mark.
  4. Close the [Printers & Scanners] screen.
  5. Insert the provided DVD to the PC.
  6. Double-click on [OKI] - [Drivers] - [PS] - [Uninstaller].
  7. Confirm the model to be deleted displayed in the dialog box, and click [OK].
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions to delete the printer driver.

  9. Once the deletion is complete, remove the included DVD from your computer.
