Printing color data in monochrome

You can print color data in monochrome.


For Windows PCL printer driver
  1. Open the file to be printed.
  2. Select [Print] from the [File] menu.
  3. Click [Preferences].
  4. Select [Monochrome] in [Color Setting] of the [Setup] tab.
  5. Specify other settings as necessary, and click [OK].
  6. Click [Print] in the [Print] screen.

    • You can print color data in monochrome by selecting [Monochrome] even when cyan, magenta and yellow toners are empty.


For Windows PS printer driver
  1. Open the file to be printed.
  2. Select [Print] from the [File] menu.
  3. Click [Preferences].
  4. Select [Greyscale] in [Color Mode] of [Color] tab.
  5. Specify other settings as necessary, and click [OK].
  6. Click [Print] in the [Print] screen.

    • You can print color data in monochrome by selecting [Greyscale] even when cyan, magenta and yellow toners are empty.


For macOS
  1. Open the file to be printed.
  2. Select [Print] from the [File] menu.
  3. Select the [Color] panel.
  4. Select [Grayscale].
  5. Specify other settings as necessary, and click [Print].

    • You can print color data in monochrome by selecting [Grayscale] even when cyan, magenta and yellow toners are empty.
    • If there is no detail settings displayed in the [Print] screen, click [Show details] at the bottom of the screen.
