Moving this machine

Doing so may cause injury.

This machine weighs approx. 30 kg, so be sure to have it lifted by at least 2 personals.


  1. Power off this machine.
  2. Remove all cables.
    • Power cord
    • LAN cable/USB cable
  3. Remove the paper from the paper cassette.

  4. Lift this machine and move it to the destination.
    When the dedicated caster stand (optional) is installed, unlock the casters (2 places) before moving the machine.

    • When the machine is moved to an uneven surface, or when the casters do not move even after you have unlocked them, remove the anti-tip feet. Refer to "Shipping this machine" for the removal procedure.
