Changing gamma values and hues

The tone can be adjusted by adjusting the gamma value, and the output color can be adjusted by adjusting the hue.


For Windows
  1. Click [Start], and select [Okidata] or [OKI] - [Color Correct Utility].
  2. Select [Hue & Saturation Tuning], and click [Next].
  3. Select the device to be adjusted, and click [Next].
  4. Select the standard mode, and click [Next].

    • If the settings are initialized after the printer driver has been updated and reinstalled, start the Color Correct Utility to automatically reset the name of the color tuning.
      Check that the color tuning name is displayed on the [Select setting] screen.
  5. If necessary, make settings by adjusting the slide bar.
    If [Use printer's unadjusted color. ] is checked, 100 percent of each color is used for printing, and the slide bar of hue is fixed.

  6. Click [Print Test].

  7. Check the printed results.
    If the desired results have not been obtained, repeat Steps 5 to 7.

  8. Click [Next].

  9. Input a name and click [Save].

  10. Click [OK].
  11. Click [Finish].


For macOS
  1. Start the Color Correct Utility.
  2. Select the device you want to adjust.
  3. Click [Next].
  4. Click [Hue & Saturation Tuning].
  5.  Select the standard mode, and click [Next].
  6. If necessary, make settings by adjusting the slide bar.
    If [Use printer's unadjusted color. ] is checked, 100 percent of each color is used for printing, and the slide bar of hue is fixed.
  7. Click [Print Test].
  8. Check the printed results.
    If the desired results have not been obtained, repeat Steps 6 to 8.
  9. Input a name and click [Save].
  10. Select [Printers & Scanners] from [System Preferences], delete the registered adjusted device, and then re-register.
