Install the software that you want to use with the included DVD.
Connect this machine to a PC with a network or USB cable, and start the installation.

  • Check the status of this machine before installation.
    • The power is turned on.
    • For connection with a network, the machine is connected to a network with a network cable and the IP address and other settings of the machine have been configured.


  1. Insert the included DVD to the PC.

  2. When [Auto Play] is displayed, click [Launch Setup.exe].

    • When the [User Account Control] screen is displayed, click [Yes].

  3. Choose a language from the pull-down menu of language selection in the [Welcome] screen.

  4. Read the software license agreement, and click [Accept].
  5. Read the environmental advice, and click [Go].
  6. Click either [Network Connection] or [USB Connection] depending on the connection method between the PC and this machine.
    If [Windows Security Alert] screen is displayed, click [Allow Access].

  7. Select the model name of this machine, and click [Go].

  8. Click [Individual Install].

  9. Click the driver or software you want to install.
    Installation will begin.

    • The procedure below may vary with the selected software.
      This is an example of installing the Configuration Tool.

  10. Click [Next] to start the installation.

    The installation starts.

  11. When the installation is complete, click [Finish].
