Cleaning the paper feed roller (Tray 1/2/3/4)

If paper jams occur frequently, clean the paper feed roller. Clean the separation roller of the paper cassette and the paper feed roller inside this machine.

  • If paper jams persist even after the paper feed roller is cleaned, it is recommended to replace the paper feed roller.

The following procedure takes Tray 1 for example. You can follow the same procedure to clean paper feed rollers for Tray 2, Tray 3 and Tray 4.


  1. Pull out the paper cassette.

  2. Wipe the two paper feed rollers inside this machine with a cloth slightly moistened with water.

  3. Remove the paper from the paper cassette.

  4. Wipe the separation roller of the cassette with a cloth slightly moistened with water.

  5. Load the paper in the paper cassette.

  6. Return the paper cassette to this machine.
