Setting IEEE802.1X (Wireless LAN)
You can set IEEE802.1X authentication with a wireless LAN. First, access the web page of this machine via a wired LAN to set IEEE802.1X authentication, and then set the wireless connection on the web page.
Setting with EAP-TLS
Open the web page of this machine.
- Log in as an administrator.
Select [Admin Setup].
- Select [Network] - [IEEE802.1X].
- Select [Disable] in [IEEE802.1X].
- Select [EAP-TLS] in [EAP Type].
- Input the user name in [EAP User].
Check [Not use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication], and click [Import].
- If you select [Use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication], the certificate must be preset from the [SSL/TLS] menu.
- Select the certificate file.
Only PKCS#12 files can be imported. - Input the certificate password, and click [OK].
Select [Authenticate Server], and click [Import].
- When you select [Not Authenticate Server], go to Step 13.
Select the CA certificate file, and click [OK].
- Specify the CA certificate used for RADIUS server authentication. PEM, DER and PKCS#7 files can be imported.
- Click [Submit].
- When this machine is online, go to "Connecting to a wireless LAN (WPA/WPA2-EAP)".
Setting with PEAP
Open the web page of this machine.
Log in as an administrator.
- Select [Admin Setup].
- Select [Network] - [IEEE802.1X].
- Select [Disable] in [IEEE802.1X].
- Select [PEAP] in [EAP Type].
- Input the user name in [EAP User].
- Input the password in [EAP Password].
Select [Authenticate Server], and click [Import].
- When you select [Not Authenticate Server], go to Step 11.
Select the CA certificate file, and click [OK].
- Specify the CA certificate used for RADIUS server authentication. PEM, DER and PKCS#7 files can be imported.
Click [Submit].
When this machine is online, go to "Connecting to a wireless LAN (WPA/WPA2-EAP)".
