Registering IC card information

To log into this machine using an IC card, you need to register the IC card information. You can register the IC card information by yourself.

  • A card authentication kit (optional) is required to use IC card authentication.
  • This function is not available if you log in using any method other than local authentication.

  • This function is not available when "Register general user's IC card" is set to [Disable] by the administrator.

  1. Log into this machine using the local authentication method.

  2. Press the scroll button ▼ on the operator panel several times to select [User Account Info], and press «OK».

  3. Press ▼ several times to select [Register IC card], and press «OK».

  4. Register the IC card information by following on-screen instructions.
