Booklet printing

  • Some applications may not be available.
  • This function is not available to macOS.
  • Watermarks cannot be printed correctly when [Booklet] is used.
  • This function is disabled when private jobs are printed from a client PC that shares the network of the device with the print server.

  • If you are using B822, refer to the PCL printer driver section.


For Windows PCL printer driver
  1. Open the file to be printed.
  2. Select [Print] from the [File] menu.
  3. Click [Preferences].
  4. Select [Booklet] in [Finishing Mode] on the [Setup] tab.
  5. Click [Options], and set booklet printing as necessary.
    • [Signature]: Specifies the unit of the page to close.
    • [2 pages]: Prints 2 pages on 1 sheet of paper.
    • [Right to Left]: Prints to create a right-to-left booklet.
    • [Bind Margin]: Sets the margin.
  6. Click [OK].
  7. Specify other settings as necessary, and click [OK].
  8. Click [Print] in the [Print] screen.

  • To create an A4 booklet using A4-sized paper, select [A3] from [Size] in the [Setup] tab.
  • If [Booklet] is not available to the Windows PCL printer driver, open "Printers Folder", right-click on the icon [OKI *** PCL6] (where *** is your model name), and select [Printer Properties] - the [Job Options] tab - [Print Processor] - [OKX05QPP] - [RAW], and click [OK].

For the Windows PS printer driver
  1. Open the file to be printed.
  2. Select [Print] from the [File] menu.
  3. Click [Preferences].
  4. Select [Booklet] in [Page Format] in the [Layout] tab.
  5. Uncheck [Draw Borders] as necessary.
  6. Click [Advanced].

  7. Click [Booklet Binding Edge] under [Document Options] to set the binding position.

    • To make a right-edge binding booklet (i.e. a booklet with the binding on the right edge when the first page is facing up), select [Right Edge].
    • To create an A5-sized booklet using A3 paper, select [A3] from [Paper Size].
  8. Click [OK] until the [Printing Preferences] screen is closed.
  9. Specify other settings as necessary, and click [OK].
  10. Click [Print] in the [Print] screen.

  • If [Page Format] is not displayed in the [Layout] tab, open the "Devices and Printers", right-click on the [OKI B842 PS] icon, and select [Printer properties] - [Advanced] tab. Check [Enable advanced printing features].
