Wide area certification system for industrial waste

Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. has acquired "Wide area certification system for industrial waste (*1)" certification from the Ministry of the Environment of Japan, with the aim of improving recyclability in the disposal of used products.

The used product collection system comprises two manufacturers: Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. and OKI Crosstech Co., Ltd. This scheme enables a more flexible response to customer requests regarding disposal processing, such as about information security management and processing procedures. The target industrial waste is used information communication equipment and printer products, which are collected and recycled.

The OKI Group has promoted 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) activities based on the recognition that it is important to effectively use resources and reduce the amount of waste in order to form a recycling-oriented society. Going forward, we will continue to work together as a group, focusing on environmental activities as part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR).
