FollowMe Printing simplifies workflow to minimize printed waste, protect confidential documents and increase user productivity. FollowMe Printing ensures users print only what they need, preventing unnecessary printing and waste. It also helps protect document confidentiality as no document is printed until the user is present at the output device.

FollowMe creates a virtual environment for printing where users can roam and print securely when and where they require, totally independent of geographic location. If an output device fails or is out of service, there is no reason why this should affect user productivity, as FollowMe Printing allows users to simply walk to another device and release their print jobs.

Available for OKI multi-function printers (MFPs) with OKI’s smart Extendable Platform (sXP) including the MC700 Series, MB700 Series and the ES94x5 MFP Series, FollowMe Embedded for OKI provides an intuitive user interface which enables secure print job management, user enrolment and cost code assignment directly from the MFP control panel.

FollowMe's powerful tracking and reporting engine provides an accurate picture on costs and activity, on a per user, device or department basis. Organisations are then able to make fact-based decisions to optimise the printing environment or to better manage costs.

How FollowMe Printing works

FollowMe Printing allows users to print to a shared print queue, roam and release their print job from any enabled output device. This ensures printing is confidential to the user and reduces printed waste from documents left uncollected at the printer.

FollowMe works with devices from any printer manufacturer and ensures usability and adaptability within diverse printing environments, supporting both host and office printing.

• Print roaming: Release print jobs from any enabled printing device. Avoid disruption if printers are busy or out of service No print drivers to configure on the PC.
• Personal printing: Each user has a personal printing experience. Confidential printing on shared devices. No rush to the printer to pick up confidential prints.
