The Sales Development Key Accounts (internal) will report directly to the Head of Key Accounts and the principal objective of the role will be to identify, prospect, profile and ultimately seek to make appointments for the Key Account Managers in the Sales Team. Core focus will be on actively developing new end user relationships with a focus on Retail clients.
Key Responsibilities:
To focus on strategic targeting of new key end user client prospects
Use MINT & Avention databases to identify, primarily, Retail clients (but also some other vertical markets) who fit the correct size and type of profile in regards to turnover, number of branches, business type and other peer group similarities to existing or target customers.
Strategic targeting of key end user client prospects.
To actively promote and propose Solutions business incorporating software, hardware and workflow.
Key focus on retail and Public Sector.
Promote the OKI MPS proposition.
Assess the End User’s needs and qualify end users in or out, while recording all data in CRM.
Present options to improve their business performance promoting the value of the OKI solutions.
To achieve and exceed the activity targets that have been set on an ongoing basis.
Report in a timely and accurate fashion all data requested by UK Management.Work very closely with account managers in the Key Accounts sales team.
Update the Company’s CRM system at all times in a timely manner.
To support the Head of Key Accounts in the delivery of overall objectives and in its contribution to the Company strategy

Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets
The capability to develop relationships with new customers
A solid understanding of profiling end users / corporate accounts with respect to general IT trends, values, relationship sets and future directions
Knowledge of competitor products and MPS propositions
