Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) receives medical aids from OKI Malaysia during the Movement Control Order as part of Malaysia’s COVID-19 preventive measures

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (31 March 2020) – OKI Data (S) Pte Ltd Malaysia Branch Office has given its support in the fight against the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak within the country by contributing medical aids to one of its major customers, Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM).
On 25 March 2020, and in conjunction with the 213th Royal Malaysia Police Day, OKI delivered medical aids to Ibu Pejabat Polis Diraja Malaysia at Bukit Aman in Kuala Lumpur. On the same day, the Malaysian Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, announced an extension to the country’s existing Movement Control Order (MCO) by two weeks until 14 April 2020 to contain the spread of COVID-19. This meant police officers would require even more medical aids during this period and hence OKI’s sponsorship support had come just at the right time.
Earlier on 23 March 2020, medical aids sponsored by OKI were also delivered to one of PDRM’s branch offices, Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen (IPK) Negeri Melaka, with the transport assistance of one of OKI’s authorised distributors, Tricomas Marketing Sdn Bhd.
