OKI is proud to announce its entry into ETRIA Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Ricoh and Toshiba Tec to advance the development and manufacturing of multifunction printers (MFPs). This strategic collaboration is expected to take effect after October 1, 2025, subject to final conditions.
 
As the third partner in ETRIA, OKI will contribute its proprietary LED head technology, production expertise, and commitment to innovation, strengthening the future of MFP and printer development.
 
Driving Technological Advancements
 
As part of ETRIA, OKI will play a key role in:
  • Enhancing MFP and printer development
    • Leveraging OKI’s LED head technology to develop more compact, energy-efficient, and resource-conscious devices.
  • Increasing cost efficiency
    • Standardising core components and materials to optimise production costs.
  • Expanding technological synergies
    • Aligning ETRIA’s Auto-ID solutions with OKI’s LED colour label printer business to drive future innovation.
  • Strengthening global production
    • Integrating OKI’s Thailand production facility to enhance supply chain flexibility and manufacturing resilience.

The Investment Structure

 

Following this integration, the ownership of ETRIA will be:

  • Ricoh – 80.74%
  • Toshiba Tec – 14.25%
  • OKI – 5.01%
