Lillie Prior - Lost

Lillie explored the theme of losing memory to Alzheimer’s. Using OKI's Pro9541, she created a printed journal of collected memories using bespoke typography on coloured paper, and black and white text on black paper.

Daniel Urquhart - Gentrifying Berlin

Daniel explored the gentrification of Berlin, through a 74-page, A5 photography book, containing over 40 black and white images. Printed on OKI's Pro9541, Daniel was able to realistically capture the mood through striking monochrome images.

Kat Mellor - Period

Kat challenged the stigma around menstruation. Using OKI's Pro9541she created an educational card game featuring white text on coloured backgrounds and coloured text on white backgrounds, printed on thick card with a shiny gloss finish.

Olly challenged the way people view design using a combination of braille and printed text to tell the story of a blind explorer. Using OKI's Pro9541, Olly printed black ink over braille and textured print on black paper.

Nottingham Trent University Students use OKI's 5 Colour Printers as a "A Tool for Expression"

Award winning Nottingham Trent University's School of Art & Design wanted to expand its printing resources in a significant but cost-effective and dynamic way. The objective was to have the capacity to print all projects and portfolios in-house. There were specific requirements: printing white and being able to print on different materials.

The University opted to install OKI’s Pro9541, 5 Colour printers. Students can now push the boundaries of creativity, producing prototype designs in house, on various mediums and in all colours including solid white and clear gloss. This has contributed to an increase in student satisfaction and course intake.
