OKI Statement Regarding the Coronavirus


As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, OKI Europe has implemented a number of measures which include:

-    protecting the safety and wellbeing of our employees and their families
-    continuing business in affected countries
-    ensuring the availability of our products, consumables and support to partners and end customers.

Protecting the safety and wellbeing of our employees and continuing business

Local government guidelines are being followed on a country-by-country basis and our business continuity plan has been activated to ensure we continue to serve our customers and partners while protecting the welfare of our employees.  To prevent the infection of employees, all business travel has been postponed with meetings being conducted through alternative methods. Staff have also been equipped to work remotely.

The measures taken are based on the announcements provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for each country within which we operate, together with the local government guidelines, and will be adapted for each country accordingly.

Ensuring availability of our products, consumables and customer support

The initial outbreak of coronavirus, combined with the impact of the recent severe storms, resulted in a temporary disruption at one of our manufacturing facilities. Processes have been put in place to make up for lost production time and the facility is now 90% operational.  Moreover, to minimise the impact on partners and customers OKI is currently airfreighting consumables orders.

Customer support will continue to be available through our hotline or via the ‘contact us’ page on the local OKI corporate websites. Please however note, there could be some delay in handling your enquiry. Furthermore, on-site repairs and orders will unfortunately be impacted in some regions where local government imposed restrictions are in place. 

OKI Europe is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updates as circumstances change.
