What is SENDYS Explorer

SENDYS Explorer is document management software provided by Alidata. It can be installed on a single computer or server to share and manage documents within a division.

・Paper documents can be scanned with a color LED multifunction printer and then uploaded to SENDYS Explorer. (File formats: PDF/PDF-A/PNG/TIFF/JPEG) 

・When scanning, documents can be converted to searchable PDF or Word/Excel files using SENDYS Explorer’s OCR and document conversion functions. 

・Documents uploaded to SENDYS Explorer can be viewed and printed from a color LED multifunction printer, standard computer or smartphone.

Document Capture Documents can be captured from a variety of sources, including color LED multifunction printers, smartphones and tablet cameras (via Android or iOS apps), a desktop Web interface and email.

Document Hub Scanned files can be distributed to email, network folders, email fax servers and document management systems.

Printing Scanned documents and documents stored on a cloud service (*1) can be easily and directly printed from the touch panel of a color LED multifunction printer, a smartphone or tablet, or a Web interface.

Document Conversion Scanned documents can be converted to the following file formats: TXT, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, PDF and PDF-A. All versions include optical character recognition (OCR) and document conversion functions (*2) that allow text to be extracted from both digital and paper documents.

Scanned Connector (*1) Scanned documents can be directly uploaded from a multifunction printer or smartphone to Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive and Microsoft SharePoint.

*2. Licenses are required for the OCR and document conversion functions. Even if you have not purchased licenses for the OCR and document conversion functions, the basic license allows you to perform OCR and document conversion for up to 500 pages. For details, see the product lineup.
