Sydney, 28 January 2020 – OKI Data Australia, a global manufacturer of business printers and multifunction devices, has announced the appointment of Tony Grima as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand. A proud moment, as he is one of a few local team members across OKI Worldwide who have been promoted to the role of MD to lead their local subsidiary.
Based in Sydney, Grima will be responsible for propelling the company’s sales, marketing, account management, services and partner channel strategy, as well as ensuring overall customer experience success. Grima originally joined OKI Data Australia in 2018 as the Sales Director and later moved into the role of General Manager for Sales and Marketing. Prior to that, Grima was the Australia General Manager of Fuji Xerox Printers where he led the implementation of a new channel partner program, reconfigured the company’s sales pipeline and improved service levels.

For his first initiative, Grima will be introducing the new OKI Advantage Partner Program and online Partner Portal in Australia and New Zealand.

Grima will be replacing Alex Kawamura who was appointed Managing Director for OKI Data Australia in October 2017. Kawamura’s new role will involve leading the Product Development and Business Division in Japan Headquarters for both the US and ANZ markets.

Grima will commence his role as the Managing Director of OKI Data Australia from 29 January 2020.
