For example, OKI printers are designed to reduce energy consumption by up to 50% when idle, which reduces air pollution from power generation. Our digital LED technology virtually eliminates ozone production in the working environment.
OKI has built a global database to support the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, and promotes the control of hazardous substances for all products in the US, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Japanese markets. We have developed and are promoting technology to eliminate lead in printed circuit boards and the use of hexavalent chromium in steel sheets and screws.
