Providers of ‘remanufactured’ cartridges often claim they are more environmentally friendly than a newly-manufactured cartridge. However, since many remanufacturers source their product overseas, they have no direct control over the quantity and quality of methods used to transport those products. Excessive transportation from such remote locations and from one company to another has a negative environmental impact.
