Mr. Veysi Kurt, Director General and Chair of the Board of TCDD and Delegation Visit OKI's headquarters
In recent years, Türkiye has been prioritizing railway infrastructure as it expands its transport network and modernizes ageing assets with advanced technologies. At the same time, TCDD is working to strengthen railway resilience and safe operations in response to natural hazards, including landslides, sinkholes and floods. Against this backdrop, TCDD Mr. Veysi Kurt, Director General and Chair of the Board of TCDD and his delegation visited OKI's headquarters in Tokyo on 29 July.
Since fiscal 2023, OKI and TCDD have collaborated on infrastructure monitoring using the Zero Energy IoT Series. During the visit, both companies reviewed progress and discussed how to further deepen their collaboration.

Together with OKI, TCDD delegation explored the future development of a long-term partnership. The delegation also visited the "OKI Style Square TORANOMON" showroom, where they viewed Zero Energy IoT Series products in person and gained a deeper understanding of their features and potential applications. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to deepen the delegation’s understanding of OKI’s products and solutions.
The delegation raised specific questions about potential use cases for the Zero Energy IoT Series and its application to infrastructure monitoring. The resulting exchange of views brought the shared vision for future collaboration into sharper focus.
OKI will continue working with TCDD to advance resilient infrastructure and help address broader social challenges.
