OKI was recognized as a 2018 Top 100 Global Technology Leader by Thomson Reuters. On February 16, President Kamagami received the trophy for the inaugural program, 2018 Top 100 Global Technology Leaders from Mr. Hideo Tomita, Representative Director of Thomson Reuters Japan KK at OKI headquarters in Tokyo.
The study, the industry's first holistic assessment of today's more than 5,000 leading tech companies worldwide, utilizes a 28-point data-driven algorithm. The methodology, developed by Thomson Reuters, is based on eight principle pillars of performance: Financial Performance, Management and Investor Confidence, Risk and Resilience, Legal Compliance, Innovation, People and Social Responsibility, Environmental Impact, and Reputation. Among those pillars, OKI was highly recognized in Innovation, Environmental Impact, and People and Social Responsibility. This commendation is based on OKI’s continuous efforts to promote patent applications in the IoT fields, reduce environmental emissions, and maintain job satisfaction while encouraging diversity in the workplace.
