If the STATUS Button on the Operator Panel Lights Up or Flashes
You can check the status of this machine by using the 
(STATUS) button.
Checking the Problem Status
If any problem occurs in this machine, the (STATUS) button lights up or flashes. Press the (STATUS) button, and check the problem status.

Press the
(STATUS) button. -
Press [System Status].

Select an item.
If the message, [Communication error] is displayed, problems have occurred in the fax communication. See "Fax Error Codes" for remedy.
Checking the Device Situation and Job Status
You can check the residual life of consumables, the counter information, and the job list from the (STATUS) button.

Press [Device Information].

Select an item.

Press [Back].
