- OKI Systems UK Ltd has announced it will give its name to the new £2m media centre complex at Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s 3aaa County Ground, in Derby.
The new centre, due to be completed this August, is the culmination of a major development at the club which began with the 3aaa pavilion and the Elite Performance Centre last year. As part of the major sponsorship deal, the new four-storey media centre will be known as the OKI Business and Media Centre.
Derbyshire County Cricket Club has invested in the new purpose-built centre as part of its plan to increase national and international media coverage. Its construction also played a major part in the club’s successful bid for Derby to be a host city for of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2017. For OKI it will be an opportunity to showcase the latest print and document management technology, with two floors dedicated to office space, it will be able to establish a customer demonstration suite within the complex.
