Receiving a Document That is Saved in a Destination Bulletin Board Box by Fax (Fcode Polling)

You can perform Fcode polling communication (Fcode polling) by entering the sub address and password of the Fcode bulletin board box that are registered to the destination machine. With this function, the sender's machine sends a fax in response to instructions from your machine.

  1. Press [Fax/Internet Fax] or the (FAX) button.

  2. Press [Fax].

  3. Press [Communicating Function] on the [Advanced] tab.

  4. Press [Fcode Polling].

  5. Enter the sub address of the bulletin board box that is registered to the sender's machine.

    The sub address is up to 20 characters in length.

  6. Press [OK].

  7. Enter the password registered in the destination machine if necessary.

    Memo

    If no password is required, press [OK] right away and go to step 9.

  8. Press [OK].

  9. Press [Back].

  10. Add a destination on the [Fax] tab.

  11. Press (START) button.

    Documents that are received with Fcode polling are automatically printed.
