Printing Using the NFC Function

For Android users, if your mobile device is equipped with the NFC function, you can easily connect to the machine and print using the NFC function of the machine.

To print using the NFC function, set the wireless LAN (AP Mode) of the machine to [Enable].

Note

  • For C824 and ES8434, make the setting after installing the wireless LAN module.

  • Wireless LAN (AP Mode) cannot be used while Wireless LAN (Infrastructure) is enabled.

Enabling Wireless LAN (AP Mode)

  1. Turn the machine on.

  2. Press the scroll button several times and select [Wireless(AP Mode) Setting], and then press the «ENTER» button.

  3. Enter the administrator password using the numeric keys, and then press the «ENTER» button.

    The factory default administrator password is "123456".

  4. Check that [Wireless(AP Mode)] is set to [Disable], press the scroll button to select [Enable].

  5. Press the «ENTER» button.

Printing with NFC Function

  1. Bring the NFC antenna of the mobile device and the NFC mark on the machine into contact.

    Register the machine to the app on the mobile device. When the machine is already registered, set only the output destination.

  2. Select the object you want to print.

  3. Tap [Print].

  • The location of the NFC antenna differs depending on the mobile device, refer to the instruction manual of the mobile device for details.
