Initializing the Network Settings

This procedure initializes all the network settings.

You can restore the network settings to the factory default settings.

  1. Press the (SETTING) button on the operator panel.

  2. Press the button once to select [Admin Setup] and press the button.

  3. Enter the administrator password, and then press the (OK) button.

    Memo

    The factory default administrator password is "999999". If the administrator password is changed, enter the updated password.

  4. Press the or button to select [Network Menu] and press the button.

  5. Check that [Network Setup] is selected, and then press the button.

  6. Press the button to select [Factory Defaults] and press the button.

  7. When [Execute] is displayed, press the button.

  8. Press the or button to select [Yes] on the confirmation screen, and press the (OK) button.

If you cannot initialize from the configuration menu of this machine, you can initialize from the operator panel.

  1. Turn the machine on while pressing and holding "6" on the numeric keypad.

  2. When the Boot Menu screen is displayed, press the (OK) button.

  3. Enter the administrator password, and then press the (OK) button.

  4. Check that [Network Factory Defaults] is selected and press the (OK) button.

  5. Check that [Execute] is selected, and then press the (OK) button.

  6. Select [Yes] on the confirmation screen, and press the (OK) button.

  7. Press the button to go back to the standby screen.
