Setting a Password to the Print Data (Secure Print)
Note

If you cannot store the spooled data due to insufficient free space in the memory, a message is displayed to inform you that the file system is full, and the print job is not executed.

This function is not available with the Windows XPS printer driver.
For Windows PCL Printer Driver
-
Open the file to open.
-
Select [Print] from the [File] menu.

Click [Preferences].
-
Select the [Job Options] tab.
-
Select [Secure Print] from [Job Type].

Enter a password in [Job Password].

Click [OK].

Change other settings if necessary, and then click [OK].

Click [Print] on the [Print] screen.

Press [Print] or the
(PRINT) button from the operator panel.

Press [Stored Job].

Enter the password that you set on the computer, and then press [OK].

When authenticated print jobs are listed, press [Print] for the jobs you want to print. To print all displayed print jobs, press [Print All].
Press [Delete] to delete specified authenticated jobs.
Press [Delete All] to delete all authenticated jobs in the list.
Note
If you forget your password that is set to a job and do not print the job sent to this machine, the job remains in the internal memory.
For Windows PS Printer Driver

If setting details are not displayed in the print dialog box for Mac OS X 10.7 to 10.11, click [Show Details] at the bottom of the dialog box.

If the print option is not displayed in the print dialog box for Mac OS X 10.6.8, click the disclosure triangle next to the [Printer] drop-down list.
