OKI introduces the Envelope Feeder and other products at  Sign and Graphic Imaging 2018

Dubai, 18 Jan, 2018 - At Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East (SGI) 2018, OKI showcased a broad portfolio of its industrial Printers, including the large-format products and solutions that demonstrate business and costs benefits to print service providers. The OKI stand featured a 3D Model which helped to demonstrate the printing capabilities of OKI  products for the Graphic Arts industry.

During the exhibition, the BLI award was officially granted to OKI at the stand. The OKI ColorPainter M-64s was by the far the fastest performer in the field. It won a BLI 2018 Wide Format Pick Award for outstanding enhanced CMYK Eco-solvent /Latex 54’’/64’’ printer; due to its exceptional print speed, remarkable dimensional stability that yields accurate multi-panel displays, comprehensive onyx RIP center software and CP manager utility. Plus, for its above average pantone color production to ensure precise color matching.

The OKI 3D model that was demonstrated at the stand was developed to aid visitors in visualizing how OKI can transform the residential and retail spaces into a place full of personalized wallpapers, banners, floor wrappings, canvas portraits, window blinds, point of sale advertising displays and much more. This installation of the 3D model allowed visitors to set their imagination free as to what they can create with industrial printing.

Customers were introduced to the Pro9 envelope printing system that allow users to generate additional sources of revenue, with the ability to print brilliant white and striking colours on coloured envelopes. Other new products, that take creativity and flexibility to a new level included a label printer which delivers professional four and five colour narrow-format printing on a wide range of materials. Labels printed using transparent or coloured media, labels that conform to the important GHS BS5609 standard and printing on coated, uncoated paper or synthetic media being a major benefit of the LED printing technology.

Mathias Militzer, OKI Vice President META Region said: “We are thrilled to continue to be a part of SGI this year. SGI is not only an exhibition for us to introduce OKI innovative technologies, but it is also a platform to interact with our customers, understand their needs and requirements and create new opportunities in the market”.
