OKI Europe enhances portfolio of solutions with the addition of Watchdoc from DOXENSE

Watchdoc enables customers to maximise their efficiency and productivity while ensuring security in the management of their document workflow

OKI Europe Ltd and DOXENSE announce the availability of "Watchdoc" on select OKI multifunctional printers (MFPs) with OKI’s smart Extendable Platform (sXP) including the MC700 Series, MB700 Series and the ES94x5 MFP Series.

Watchdoc is a software solution that enables customers to monitor and take control of their print output and associated print costs. This powerful software provides an accurate picture of all print related activities and associated costs and offers the tools to manage activity based on the requirements of each individual or department. For example, the use of colour printing vs black and white or the requirement for secure printing to protect confidential documents. In addition to the obvious cost benefit, there is the added bonus of reducing the environmental impact of a business by cutting the volume of paper and toner consumed.

The addition of "Watchdoc" enhances OKI’s growing portfolio of solutions that enables customers to maximise their efficiency and productivity while ensuring security in the management of their document workflow.

DOXENSE has developed an interface that has an exceptionally user-friendly design and can be added on and accessed directly via the existing functionality of OKI’s sXP embedded MFPs. For the software house, this partnership is very important as Vincent Lemaire chief executive officer of DOXENSE noted, "We share a number of OKI’s values, the main being customer satisfaction. Watchdoc enables each user to select the pages they wish to print through OKI’s MFPs, by authenticating their identity using a secure card or pin. Users will also have visibility of the savings potential both in terms of cost and natural resources. This is linked to the management of user access rights (for example, to print in colour, to copy or to fax), which educates and encourages the user to choose the most eco friendly option available.
