Tsukasa Takasawa
Tsukasa Takasawa is Managing Director for OKI Europe Ltd. With a strong emphasis on growth and transformation, Takasawa’s main objective is to leverage OKI’s innovative printer technology and industry-specific solutions to drive competitive performance in a mature market, with a particular focus on growth in vertical and emerging niche sectors. 
 
Takasawa first joined the OKI Group in 2016 as Chief Executive of Staff. He then became Director and Divisional General Manager for OKI Data Corporation’s Corporate Planning and Administration Divisions, with cross-functional strategic responsibility at board level, for corporate planning, finance and accounting, information systems and risk management. Prior to joining the OKI Group, Takasawa was General Manager at the Mizuho Bank and held senior roles in the finance sector, including domestic, international and global trade finance positions. 
 
To-date, his main successes include playing an active role in OKI Data Corporation’s 2019 Transformation Plan, which subsequently resulted in improved fiscal performance for the OKI Data Group, including OKI Europe Ltd. 
 
Advocating a collaborative leadership style, Takasawa believes in the importance of communication. In his role as Managing Director at OKI Europe Ltd, he intends to use his experience of working with over 1,000 CEOs, CFOs and other directors of global enterprises to support and foster a culture of interaction to facilitate the ongoing transformation plans across the EMEA region.
 
To support the group-level Transformation strategy, Takasawa intends to leverage the unique benefits delivered by OKI’s pioneering digital LED technology through a more solutions based approach, focusing on applications within a range of vertical industry sectors to drive growth across the region. This is in parallel with continuing to push the already successful market changing Industry Print portfolio that enables boutique businesses and print shops to access new revenue opportunities through disruptive printer technology.
 
Takasawa has a Business degree from Waseda University in Tokyo and a Superior-Level Diploma in Spanish which he gained through the University of Salamanca, one of the oldest Universities in Spain located to the north-west of Madrid. He is a keen golfer and enjoys reading and walking.
