OKI Europe’s large format printer offers affordability without compromising quality

18/04/2017

Egham, 18th April 2017 – OKI Europe Ltd says that large format printers such as its newly-launched, award winning, ColorPainter E-64s, offer sign makers, exhibition services providers, screen printers and others the opportunity to move away from low-margin vinyl and banner printing into more profitable applications, giving their business the boost needed to drive future growth and success.

The E-64s and other larger models in its ColorPainter range overcome the environmental, quality and media flexibility barriers typically experienced in this sector, providing a new agility and the chance to maximise increasing demand for products such as vehicle and building wrap, outdoor light box, backlit signage and floor graphics.

Speaking prior to FESPA 2017, where the E-64s will be among the OKI highlights, (Stand B5-A52) Frank Jänschke, Senior Product Manager, Large Format Printers, OKI Europe Ltd, said: “The E-64s, for example, is an extremely versatile printer, offering routes to new revenue streams for an affordable investment. Its media flexibility is beyond anything previously available, with impressive results even for characters up to 2 points, on back or front-lit materials, technical textiles, wallpaper, canvas, hard PVC, banner, vinyl and many other media types.”

Since OKI’s acquisition of Seiko I Infotech Inc’ large format portfolio including the renowned ColorPainter family 18 months ago, the industry has been waiting to see how the brand would evolve. The E-64s signals OKI’s insistence that affordability doesn’t compromise quality; it includes proven technologies from higher-end models, including the ability to print indoor or ultra-durable outdoor applications on the same machine thanks to OKI’s high-pigment ECO solvent SX ink. Its user-friendly construction means that managing and handling from preparation to operation is easy.

Visitors to the OKI stand will also be able to experience the entire ColorPainter family of products including the M-64s and the H3–104s, all offering premium performance and a high-level of precision as well as OKI’s Pro Series range of printers specifically aimed at creative businesses, offering them the ability to branch out and capture new revenue opportunities.  The Pro Series includes OKI’s White Toner, Neon Toner and 5 colour printers all of which challenge traditional CMYK printing.
