Setting Wireless LAN(WPA/WPA2-EAP)
This section describes how to use the web page of the machine to connect the machine to the wireless LAN secured by WPA/WPA2-EAP.
To use the web page of the machine, you need to complete the wired LAN or wireless LAN connection setting.
Before setting WPA/WAP2-EAP as the security of wireless LAN, make a setting from the [IEEE802.1X] menu.
Setting IEEE802.1X

Open the Web page of this machine.
The factory default administrator name and password are "admin" and "aaaaaa" respectively.

Select [Admin Setup].

Click the [Network Menu]tab.

Click the [IEEE802.1X] tab.

Using the EAP-TLS
a) Select [Disable] from [IEEE802.1X].
b) Select [EAP-TLS] from [EAP Type].
c) Enter a user name in [EAP User].
d) Select [Do not use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication], and then click [Import].
Memo
If [Use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication] is selected, set the certificate in the [SSL/TLS] menu beforehand.
e) Select the certificate file.
You can only import a PKCS#12 file.
f) Enter the password of the certificate, and then click [OK].
g) Select [Authenticate Server], and then click [Import].

If you select [Not authenticate Server], go to step i).
h) Select the CA certificate file, and then click [OK].

Specify the certificate issued by the certificate authority that the RADIUS server uses for authentication. You can import a PEM, DER, and PKCS#7 file.
i) Click [Submit].
j) Go to "Setting Wireless LAN" when the machine becomes online.

Using PEAP
a) Select [Disable] from [IEEE802.1X].
b) Select [PEAP] from [EAP Type].
c) Enter a user name in [EAP User].
d) Enter a password in [EAP Password].
e) Select [Authenticate Server], and then click [Import].

If you select [Not authenticate Server], go to step g).
f) Enter the file name of the CA certificate, and then click [OK].

Setting Wireless LAN

Open the Web page of this machine, and log in as the administrator.

Click [Admin Setup].

Click [Network Menu] tab.

Click [Wireless(Infrastructure) Setting] menu.

Select [Manual Setup].

Select [Enable] for [Wireless(Infrastructure)] in [Basic Settings].

"Disable" is set by default.

Enter SSID name for wireless access point you want to connect in [SSID].

The entry box is blank by default.

Select [WPA/WPA2-EAP] for [Security] in [Security Settings].

When all the settings in Basic Settings and Security Settings are complete, press [Submit] on the bottom left of the web page to reflect the settings. It may take approximately one minute to establish the wireless AP connection.
If connection fails, retry the wireless setting on the operator panel orswitch to a wired LAN on the operator panel, and then retry the wireless setting on the web page of the machine.
