You can register such as logos to the machine as forms, and then print overlays. This section describes how to register forms.

Overlaying Forms or Logos (Overlay)
Creating a Form

Click [Start], and then select [Devices and Printers].

Right-click the printer icon, and then select the necessary printer driver from [Printer Properties].

Select the [Ports] tab, select the [FILE] check box from [Port], and then click [Configure Port].

Create a form to register on the machine.
If using the Windows PCL printer driver, proceed to step 9.

Select [Print] from the [File] menu.

Click [Preferences] (or [Properties]).

Select the [Extend] tab, and then click [Overlays].

Select [Create Form].

Start printing.

Enter the file name under which you want to save.

form.prn

Select the previous port from [Printer Port] on the [Port] tab, and then click [OK].
Registering the Form to the Machine Using Configuration Tool

Click [Start], and then select [All Programs] > [Okidata] > [Configuration Tool] > [Configuration Tool].

Select [Storage Manager] from the [Plug-ins] menu.

Click
(New Project).

Click
(Add File to Project), and then select a created form file.
The form is added to the project.

Click the form file.

For Windows PCL printer driver users, enter ID of the form (arbitrary) in [ID] and click [OK]. For Windows PS printer driver users, enter the form name in [Component], and then click [OK].
Note
Do not change [Target Volume] and [Path].
Memo
For those who use the Windows PCL printer driver for overlay printing, specify the form ID entered in [ID], and who use the Windows PS printer driver, specify the form name entered in [Component].

Select the machine from the bottom of the Storage Manager Plug-in window.
Memo
If the machine is not registered to Configuration Tool, register the machine referring "Registering This Machine".

Click
(Send project files to printer).

Click [OK].
