Items on Transmit and Receipt Journal Report

This section describes items on the Transmit and Receipt Journal Report.

For instructions on how to print Transmit and Receipt Journal Report, refer to "Printing a Report to Check".

To print Transmit and Receipt Journal Report automatically, press the (SETTING) button on the operator panel and select [Admin Setup] > [Fax Setup] > [Fax Setting], and then set [A/R Full Print] to [ON].

Distant Station

Indicates destinations.

You can change the display style of "Distant Station" by pressing the (SETTING) button on the operator panel and selecting [Admin Setup] > [Fax Setup] > [Other Settings] > [Distant Station Priority].

When [Type 1] is set

  • For the fax auto transmission/Fcode polling reception

    The device information (phone number) registered in the destination machine is displayed.

    If the device information (phone number) is not registered in the destination machine, the destination information (“name" in the “speed dial” or phone number) specified in the machine is displayed.

  • For the manual transmission (on-hook dial)

    The device information (phone number) registered in the destination machine is displayed.

    If the device information (phone number) is not registered in the destination machine, the specified destination (phone number) is displayed.

When [Type 2] is set

  • For the fax auto transmission/Fcode polling reception

    The destination information (“name" in the “speed dial” or phone number) specified in the machine is displayed.

  • For the manual transmission (on-hook dial)

    The specified destination (phone number) is displayed.

*The display style of “Distant Station” cannot be changed in case of the fax reception, manual transmission using the external telephone, or Fcode polling transmission.

The device information (phone number) registered in the destination machine is displayed.

If the device information (phone number) is not registered in the destination machine, this field is blank.

Kind

Indicates the kind of fax.

  • Manual Tx: Send a fax after a telephone call made from an external telephone is finished.

  • Secure Box Tx: Send a fax to the confidential box of the destination machine.

  • Fcode Polling Tx: Send a document saved in the bulletin board box of the machine as a fax.

  • Broadcast: Send a fax to multiple destinations at the same time.

  • PC-FAX: Send a fax via the fax driver on a computer.

  • Forwarding: Forward a received fax to another fax machine.

  • Manual Rx: Receive a fax after answering with the external telephone.

  • Fcode Polling Rx: Receive a document saved in the bulletin board box of the destination machine as a fax.

  • Secure Box Rx: Receive a fax sent to the confidential box of the machine.

*A blank cell indicates communication other than those categories such as usual automatic transmission and reception.

Result

Indicates fax communication results.

  • #: Communicates via Super G3.

  • *: Communicates via G3 ECM.

  • None: Communicates via G3 Non ECM.

Error Code

Indicates the error code when a communication error occurs.

  • For details about the error code, refer to "Fax Error Codes".

  • A blank cell indicates that the communication is successfully completed.
