OKI Original Consumables

Understanding Page Yields and ISO Standards

A simple explanation of why OKI refer to these, and why it is important to you

Like many other Original Equipment Manufacturers, OKI often references Page Yields and ISO Standards when writing about our solutions and imaging supplies.

Put simply, a Page Yield refers to the number of pages that can be printed from a single toner cartridge.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a standard-setting body composed of representatives from various national standard-setting bodies, formalises the testing of page yield and publication of data across the industry.

OKI uses a suite of ISO-approved test pages to determine the declared yield for its toner cartridges.
