Supporting Multiple-face Detection Functionality
FSE realizes multiple-face detection in real-time from still images and videos taken with a camera.
This enables not only the counting of people on a photograph, but also speedy searches of multiple face images for specific persons and the detection of positions and names.

Compact Design
Compact size is optimal for embedding purposes (program size: Face area detection/tracking only: 115KB, all function: 393KB). Also, the program is written in C language and does not use any standard library.

Realizing High Portability
The operation of the engine has been verified in a broad range of platforms (CPU: ARM, SH-Mobile and others; OS: Symbian, Windows Mobile, Linux, BREW, WIPI, uITRON, Solaris and others).
