OKI Data Announces Executive Personnel Change
Names Takao Hiramoto President of OKI Data
TOKYO, December 21, 2011 -- OKI Data Corporation, an OKI Group company specializing in the printer business, today announced the appointment of Takao Hiramoto, currently Deputy President, as President for OKI Data, effective January 1, 2012. Harushige Sugimoto, currently President, will assume the position of Director.
In a statement regarding his appointment as President of OKI Data, Hiramoto said, "As a company that developed the world's first printer using LEDs as the light source, OKI Data will return to its origin with ‘Enterprising Spirit'. Hiramoto will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and leadership for OKI Data. He will lead the profitable growth of the company by providing insight, guidance and expertise based on his experience within the technology industry.
