Notice on Recovery Effort in Thailand
TOKYO, December 16, 2011 -- OKI (TSE:6703) today announces an update of its operations recovery effort at OKI Data Manufacturing (Thailand), a consolidated subsidiary of OKI located at the Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya Province, central Thailand, following the flood caused by torrential rainfall since last July.
- Damages
Due to water exposure, operations at OKI Data Manufacturing (Thailand) were temporarily suspended since October 6. Drainage of the manufacturing facility is now complete and the company is preparing for operations to resume. The company expects the facility to partially resume operations on January 4, 2012 and to return to full-scale operations at the end of March 2012.
OKI Data have put in place alternative manufacturing solutions which started on November 7, 2011.

OKI is investigating the damage caused by the flood and its impact on the performance of OKI as a whole. It will advise the findings once it is judged there will be an important change in our business forecast.
