OKI Revises Consolidated First-half Projections for the Fiscal Year ending March 31, 2012
TOKYO, October 25, 2011 -- Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (TSE:6703) today announced it has revised its consolidated earnings projections for the first half (from April 1, 2011 to Sept. 30, 2011) from its previous projections announced on July 29, 2011, in light of recent business performance.

2.Reasons of revision
OKI projects net sales to exceed the previous annoucement, due to the steady performance of mainly info-telecom segment during the first half of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012. OKI also projects operating income to exceed and recurring loss to improve given the increase in sales volume and the impact of the appreciation of yen against the US dollar. Net loss remains the same as the previous projections annouced due to the loss on revaluation of investments in securities.
Consolidated projections for the full-year remains the same as the annoucement made on May 13, 2011.Details will be announced during the announcement of the financial results for the first-half ended September 30, 2011, scheduled to take place on November 1, 2011.
