Notice on the Damage of the Flood in Thailand

TOKYO, October 12, 2011 -- OKI (TSE:6703) announces the situation at OKI Data Manufacturing (Thailand), a consolidated subsidiary of OKI located at the Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya Province, central Thailand, following the flood caused by torrential rainfall since last July.

  1. Damages

    Due to water exposure in the Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya Province, factory operation has been temporarily suspended. No injuries have been reported to OKI's employees. Status of the damage is now under investigation.

  2. Estimated impact on our business performance

    OKI is investigating the damage caused by the flood and its impact on the performance of OKI as a whole. It will advise the findings once it is judged there will be an important change in our business forecast.

  3. Recovery

    OKI is continuing to investigate details of the damage, but is unable to announce when operations will be resumed at this time.
