OKI Europe Limited Wins 'Best Product Launch Campaign' at B2B Marketing Awards 2010

EGHAM, UK, January 6 -- OKI Europe Limited, an OKI Group company specialized in the professional color printer business, won the Best Product Launch Campaign award for the launch of its MC860 multi-function printer at the 2010 B2B Marketing Awards.

The B2B Marketing Awards are owned and operated by B2B Marketing, a dedicated B2B marketing information resource established in 2004 by co-founders Joel Harrison and James Farmer.

The judging panel is made up of a host of experienced senior client-side B2B marketers and the award submissions are judged on four principal criteria:

  • Marketing team demonstrated understanding of specific campaign objectives as well as the brand's long-term business objectives

Strategic thinking: Demonstrate that the Marketing team have added value through intelligent, innovative and relevant strategic thinking

  • The campaign met set objectives
  • The campaign added value to the business

The entire judging process is entirely independent from the management of the awards, to ensure that the highest standards of integrity are maintained.

The integrated campaign was developed to focus on OKI's recognized strengths of robust yet innovative technologies, together with unrivalled value for money and service support. As a result, it used powerful visual imagery, simple messaging and incentivized response across multiple marketing channels to generate excitement and contact across both channel partners and the end-user community.

The resulting 'A4 Price, A3 Output' creative concept worked well across all geographies. The multi-media campaign was designed to drive awareness and lead generation through various marketing channels to individual microsites for each of the 14 participating countries.

It combined a high level of impact, capturing the attention of each audience, with the flexibility to support local activities and events in delivering the targeted return on investment.

The MC860 launch campaign has since proved highly successful in meeting the company's challenging targets.
