OKI Announces New President and CEO
TOKYO, March 12, 2009 -- OKI Electric Industry (TSE: 6703) today announced that Hideichi Kawasaki, currently Managing Director and Senior Vice President, will be appointed to be the next Representative Director, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Katsumasa Shinozuka, currently President and CEO will assume the position of Chairman of the Board. These changes are subject to approval at the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders and at the Board of Directors meeting afterward, both scheduled to be held in late June 2009.
