Oki Electric Receives Award from Chinese Magazine; CTstage® 4i for .NET Has Positive Impact on Chinese Communication Industry
The only Japanese company to receive the award from "Communications Weekly," one of the largest communication magazines in China
Tokyo, Japan, January 10, 2006 -- Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (TSE: 6703) today announced it has received the Company-Positively-Impacting-the-Chinese-Communication-Industry Award from China's communication and network magazine, "Communications Weekly". In granting this award, the magazine cited Oki's business activities and the track record of its CTI (computer telephony integration) server for call centers, CTstage® 4i for.NET Chinese Version.
The award is part of "Communications Weekly"'s "10 years of growing with the Chinese Communication Industry" project established for its 10th anniversary. During 2005, it researched and selected communications-related companies throughout China. A panel of judges, comprised of "Communications Weekly" editors and other specialists, evaluated companies based on product technology level, customer satisfaction, objective position in the industry, etc. Then the judges selected six companies as finalists.
