Enjoy Sports Club - Rainbow activities
Enjoy Sports Club - Rainbow, an organization whose representative happens to be an OKI Group employee, gives mentally challenged individuals and their families and caretakers the opportunity to enjoy various sports and outdoor activities, including canoeing, river rafting, trekking, running, and marathons. These activities give these individuals the rare opportunity to relax in the open air alongside family members as part of a project intended to eliminate mental barriers.
PC classes at OKI Kansai Regional Office
As a member of the Chuo Ward Philanthropy Council—organized in June 1999 by corporations and organizations with offices in Chuo Ward of Osaka City, with the cooperation of the Osaka City Council of Social Welfare and the Osaka City Chuo Ward Council of Social Welfare—the OKI Kansai Regional Office is currently undertaking an intense study of social contribution activities rooted in local communities. The Chuo Ward Philanthropy Council seeks not just to promote the exchange of information among members, but to encourage members think deeply about and implement community-based activities.
To establish patterns of joint effort with local residents and to deepen mutual understanding, the Chuo Ward Philanthropy Council has created a "delivery service menu" and established a system to give local residents access to a range of know-how and expertise offered by member companies and organizations. As part of these efforts, the OKI Kansai Regional Office offers computer courses for beginners, with volunteer employees serving as instructors.
