OKI is moving ahead to market worldwide its IP and mobile key telephone system "IPstage* MX/SX," positioning them as global strategic products alongside OKI's printers.

In October, 2006, OKI announced in Japan the "IPstage MX/SX," a new type of key telephone system featuring both mobile phone functionality and full-fledged IP phone functions. Many Internet media and magazines in Japan picked up this news, recognizing the new key telephone systems as the fruition of years of product development work OKI had done in the field of IP telephony where it is a world leader.

In November of the same year, sales were launched in China at a press conference held at China Hotel in Beijing, and at a product announcement ceremony at the Shangri La Hotel in Changzhou. In April, 2007, OKI began sales of the IPstage EX100 in India based on a strategic alliance with Avaya Global Connect Limited. Sales activity of IPstage SX has begun in Thailand and Singapore as well.

In September, 2007, sales of IPstage SX were started in the Spanish market, and to announce this activity, press releases were widely circulated not only in Japan, but overseas as well. OKI hosted a press conference and product announcement event in Spain's capital city of Madrid. 26 reporters from the region attended the press conference. The content of the press release and the press conference announcement was picked up by over 80 media channels, including some of the important in Spain. This demonstrates a high level of interest in OKI's products.

Following the press conference, the product announcement event was held at the "Museo del Traje" museum in the suburb of Madrid. The event was accompanied by a gala party commemorating the product launch, and a large number of OKI's business partners who are handling sales of its products in Spain attended.

In October, 2007, sales of IPstage SX were started in the Italian market, and the product announcement ceremony was held in Milan. Sales support for the "IPstage SX" for both Spain and Italy will be handled by OKI Systems (Iberica), S. A. U., Oki Data's base in Spain.

OKI intends to steadily expand its sales network for the "IPstage Series" of products, which offer true IP telephony functionality. By making a strong contribution to enhancing the productivity and competitive strength of the growing number of enterprises that are its users, OKI aims to continue to develop its global markets.
