| OKI's environmental education program is divided into company education which targets Oki Electric Industry Co. Ltd. and the affiliated companies of the OKI Group, and local education, which is provided independently by each production base in Japan. |

| 2.In-house environmental auditor training |
| OKI is providing in-house environmental auditor training to audit the environmental management system. In fiscal 1998, 115 personnel completed this training, qualifying as in-house environmental auditors. The total number of in-house environmental auditors has now reached 219. |
